Despite this, he is married to a beautiful, but estranged wife named, who tries to get away from him by performing at a nightclub called the 'Ink and Paint Club' in the 1940s.After being framed for the murder of Marvin Acme by and the Toon Patrol, Roger becomes the prime suspect in the owner of Toontown's murder over that fact that rumor was going around that Marvin was having an affair with Jessica. Roger enlists the help of Eddie Valiant to clear his name, much to the latter's hatred towards toons.Together, the two of them discover that Judge Doom had purposely killed both Acme and R.K. Maroon in an attempt to obtain the latter's will in order to profit over the fact that the city is planning on building a freeway straight through Toontown by genociding the entire town's residents with a substance called 'Dip' that is capable of killing toons (as they are immortal to being killed by normal means), but in the process Eddie and Jessica are captured. Roger unsuccessfully tries to save them, but ends up getting him and Jessica bonded by the Toon Patrol. Eddie however manages to outsmart the Toon Patrol by making most of the members die of laughter and kicking their leader into the 'Dip', he then defeats Judge Doom (who reveals himself to actually be the exact toon that killed his brother Teddy) by dumping the 'Dip' onto him, causing him to melt.With the will safety returned to the toons, Roger and Eddie are hailed as heroes for saving Toontown while Jessica reconciles with Roger, promising that she will make him a carrot cake for his valor.To Vote for next month's Hero For Headline, go to.
